A chance meeting with Google's Larry Page inspired Stanford engineering student Lauryn Isford to take risks and embrace the entrepreneurial spirit.

Lauryn Isford is a sophomore at Stanford University majoring in management science and engineering. She is the vice president of business conferences for Stanford Women in Business and a research assistant at Epicenter.

During the course of her summer internship at Epicenter, Lauryn reached out to hundreds of students, conducting interviews and gathering information about entrepreneurship and engineering clubs and programs at the students’ home universities. She has been instrumental in helping to build a national community of engaged students who share her enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.
