Epicenter offered faculty, students, researchers and academic leaders engaging ways to support entrepreneurship and innovation learning in undergraduate engineering education. University Innovation Fellows

The University Innovation Fellows program offers undergraduate students in engineering and other fields the training and support to become leaders who catalyze change on their home campuses. Fellows help students learn about the entrepreneurial mindset, innovation, creativity, design thinking and venture creation at their schools. Fellows' schools are founding clubs, hosting events and workshops, collaborating with faculty on new classes, creating student makerspaces, and providing opportunities for interdiscplinary collaboration. Pathways to Innovation Program

The Pathways to Innovation program is designed to help institutions transform the experience of their undergraduate engineering students – ensuring that students graduate with the technical skills, tools and attitudes they need to move from ideas to practical solutions that solve real world problems. The program, created and run by Epicenter, helps faculty incorporate entrepreneurship and innovation into a range of courses as well as strengthen co- and extra-curricular offerings. Read more »

Fostering Innovative Generations Studies

Epicenter research team is conducting a set of large, multi-method, national studies of entrepreneurship in engineering collectively known as the Fostering Innovative Generations Studies, or FIGS. As part of FIGS, the team is pursuing three major research questions, each of which addresses an important gap in existing knowledge about entrepreneurship education for engineers. Read more »

Conferences and Workshops

In collaboration with our partners, Epicenter provides faculty and students with new tools, approaches and methodologies for delivering innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in engineering.
