Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers Conference

The 2013 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) is the primary organization for university-related entrepreneurship centers from around the world. The goal of the GCEC conference is to bring together directors from around the globe to share best practices, and provide opportunities for networking and learning.

This year's conference will be held on October 24-26 (Thursday through Saturday) at the new state-of-the-art Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, home to the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, on the campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). The conference will take place on the most entrepreneurial corner on earth, where the UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management, the Kauffman Foundation, Midwest Research Institute, and the Stowers Institute for Medical Research are located.

The GCEC, formerly the National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (NCEC), was founded in 1996. The intent of the organization is to provide a coordinated vehicle through which participating members can collaborate and communicate on the specific issues and challenges confronting university-based entrepreneurship centers. The GCEC current membership totals 200+ university-based entrepreneurship centers ranging in age from well established and nationally ranked to new and emerging centers.
