Student Problem Formulation Tool
This proposal is to develop a tool to promote smarter, faster, student problem formulation on entrepreneurial projects. It builds on research on domain expertise and creative problem solving. The tool provides access to distributed multi-disciplinary domain expertise around the university. Specifically, we seek funding to partially support a 2012-2013 pilot project, led by Dr. Beth Altringer, that is expanding student access to baseline domain expertise across several departments at Harvard, including the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard Innovation Lab, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Global Health Institute, and the Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
